our orlando florida studio — where every candle begins

oviedo is not the first place most people think of when they hear "luxury candles." and that is exactly why we love it here.

a deliberate choice

when we were deciding where to base our studio, we wanted somewhere that embodied the calm, intentional energy of our brand. oviedo, with its mossy oaks and quiet neighborhoods, offered something los angeles could not — space to breathe, think, and create without distraction.

the studio

our workspace is simple and functional. long wooden tables hold rows of concrete molds in various stages of curing. shelves are lined with jars of coconut wax and vials of essential oils. there is no machinery — just hands, tools, and time.

every candle is hand-poured in small batches. we mix our scent formulas on site, adjusting ratios until each blend is exactly right. the vessels are cast one at a time, each requiring 48 hours to cure before finishing.

the la connection

while our production lives in florida, our creative network extends to los angeles. brand collaborations, editorial shoots, and pop-up events keep us connected to the design and fashion communities that first embraced nu.

this dual identity — florida craft with la aesthetic — is what makes nu los angeles unique. we are rooted in the honest, hands-on tradition of making things, but we present them with the polish and intention of a luxury brand.
